Powered by a single battery (coin cell battery CR2032) and switch. Each malm comes with one installed battery and one additional replacement. The CR2032 is readily and affordably available on Amazon. The wood bundle is 100% recycled real wood twigs (removable). Simply flip the malm over, switch it on, and you are ready to warm up. Easily replace the battery; use a flat tipped object and push/slide the battery out from the bottom side.
